The legal basis for the processing in this respect results from Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Uniper may also use personal data from its customers and data from participants for marketing purposes, if they have expressly consented to this pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. In this case, Uniper will use the information you provide to contact you to discuss your interest in the services and to provide you with information about the company, its subsidiaries and affiliates, such as promotions and events. Duration of storage

Uniper will store your personal information only as long as necessary to provide the services or information you request and for the duration of our business relationship. In addition, we store your data only to the extent necessary to comply with legal storage obligations or for the duration of legal disputes to protect our legitimate interests. We will delete your data immediately if it is no longer needed for the purposes mentioned.

Automatically collected information

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, by making your IP address anonymous on this website, Google will previously shorten your IP address within Member States of the European Union or other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Thunderhead

This website uses ONE, a web analytics service from Thunderhead, 5th Floor, Ingeni Building, 17 Broadwick Street, London W1F 0DJ. An ONE cookie is stored on your device. With regard to your user behavior, we record which of our websites you visit, how long you remain there, what you “click” on or in which fields you enter data (so-called “Listening and Capturing”). This is to improve our website and our products and services as such, because we hope it will give us an insight into what our customers or potential customers/users of our websites are interested in, what features they use and how they use them. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR and § 15 para. 3 TMG. If you do not want the ONE cookie to collect and use the above information, you can of course set your browser preferences to delete the stored cookies or prevent your browser from accepting cookies. Furthermore, we expressly point out that the deletion or suppression of the acceptance of cookies is limited, since the browser setting only applies to the currently used browser. The Google Tag Manager is used on this website. The Google Tag Manager is a solution from Google Inc. that enables companies to manage website tags through a single interface. Google Tag Manager is a cookie-free domain that does not collect personally identifiable information. The Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may themselves collect data. We hereby point this out separately. The Google Tag Manager does not access this data. This website uses the LinkedIn Insight tag. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a tool of the LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Use of the IP address
